Meet Snorri

Snorri is a beautiful Icelandic horse with a gentle nature. On arrival at Hall Farm he was completely unhandled and very fearful. Although Snorri was very nervous to begin with he is gaining confidence daily. He can sometimes be cautious to catch although the occasional treat will usually help persuade him. He is learning to trust the farrier but needs a calm and patient approach. Snorri tries really hard with all of his general handling which has made him very rewarding to work with. He also stables well. Snorri is looking for a calm, patient rehomer to further his education and help him catch up on the education he has missed out on in the past. Snorri may have the potential to back when he is older if his rehomer has previous experience of this. However, as he is still very green for his age, he will need to be given time to mature and gain more life experience before starting any ridden work. If ridden, Snorri will have a maximum rider weight limit of 8 to 8.5 stones. We are equally happy for Snorri to remain a non-ridden companion and just enjoy life with some new friends.
